The SeCom-4x multiplexer expands an IP-dialler-western, IP-dialler-solo or IP-dialler-solo-H, within a LAN-based emergency call solution, by 4 additional SeCom compatible interfaces (without analogue telephone interfaces).
Together with the optional SeCom interface of the IP-dialler, this allows up to 5 independent SeCom-compatible resident emergency call interfaces to be realised via one LAN port.
Each of these 5 interfaces enables the connection of several SeCom-compatible triggering devices, such as pear push-buttons or pullcords, a SeCom-compatible corridor lamp, an RFID-ident for caregiver identification, as well as a radio receiver for radio-based emergency call triggering.
The emergency call alarm of the SeCom-4x is possible via the IP dialler used both to an Avaya SeCom AVK and to the CLAS alarm server. The SeCom-4x is parameterised via the web interface of the IP dialler used.
